Bandung, June 12, 2024 – The Office of Journals and Publications at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) hosted the 7th International Student Conference on Education Facing Sustainability Development Industry 5.0 on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The two-day event was held at the University Center Building, Level 1, UPI, and Travello Hotel, with participation from lecturers and students.
The conference was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Bunyamin Maftuh, M.Pd., M.A., Vice Rector for Research, Business, and Cooperation at UPI. He stated that UPI has a continuous program to encourage lecturers and students to publish scientific papers in nationally accredited journals and internationally reputed journals through conferences and other scientific activities.
He emphasized that through a strong commitment to enhancing scientific publications, UPI strives to collaborate on conferences with various publication partners. Prof. Dr. Bunyamin Maftuh, M.Pd., M.A., expressed his hope that all participants would follow the event through to its conclusion and make the most of this valuable opportunity.
The event was moderated by Risti Ragadhita, a doctoral student in Science Education, and featured two speakers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Azwadi Che Sidik, Editor-in-Chief of a scientific journal in Malaysia, and Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Nandiyanto, M.Eng., Head of the UPI Office of Journals and Publications, and Editor-in-Chief of The Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology (IJoST) with a Q1 ranking and The ASEAN Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE) with a Q3 ranking.
