Visitation and Partnership Meeting Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with CAD-IT and PT. CADIT Consultants Indonesia

Bandung, 27 February 2026 – The Directorate of Partnership and International Affairs (DPIA) shared and managed the visitation by CAD-IT Global and PT CADIT Consultants Indonesia to explore potential collaboration in industrial transformation and technological innovation. The meeting was opened with welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Agus Setiabudi M.Si., Vice Rector for Research, Community Outreach, and Partnership, with the company from DPIA, Directorate of Research and Community Outreach, Directorate of Innovation, Downstream, and Science Techno Park, as well as the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Education. The welcoming remarks emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between universities and industry to prepare students and researchers for the challenges of future technology and industry. The CEO of CAD-IT Global, Terence Chan, also shared their enthusiasm for this collaboration to further explore the potential of both parties in Academic Excellence, Research, and Community Outreach.

CAD-IT is an international consultancy company specialized in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Industrial Transformation solutions. Founded in 1991 in Singapore, the company focuses on Industrial IOT, Computer-Aided Engineering Simulation, Product Lifecycle Management, and Digital Industrial Transformation. With offices across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and the Philippines, CAD-IT received more than 170 business awards and serves global clients such as Panasonic, Coca-Cola, Daikin, and many more. CAD-IT also collaborates with academic institutions and research bodies.

During the meeting, both parties discussed potential collaboration through research partnerships, student internships, and joint projects to support industrial transformation. Rather than focusing solely on software training, the collaboration aims to involve students in real-world projects where they can design solutions to actual problems. 

The meeting concluded with a mutual intention to discuss and formalise potential areas of cooperation in the near future, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening university-industry collaboration. UPI and PT CADIT Consultants Indonesia will continue to discuss prospective projects to support the intention of advancing education excellence and contributing to society.
